"The Traditional Women's Dress of Oman" by Julia M. Stehlin-Al Zadjali isn't a novel but it is an amazing coffee table book.Who will like it? Anyone fascinated with historical traditional dresses and national costumes, fashion by way of the construction of ethnic garments, or Omani culture. Which was, of course, me.
There are alot of detailed pictures for each region of Oman women's dress, as well as descriptions easy to understand, and the book is very organized.
Well worth its price if you want to know where women are from via observing their dress this upcoming Muscat festival;)
