I love Oman. I really do. Sometimes I feel my senses just get so overwhelmed. The stress of driving with people who never signal until after they're already in your lane, making coffee and preparing fruit for any minute's surprise drop in, everything being "ma mishkila" until 'mishkila" it is. Agh! But I couldn't trade it, the lazy pace of white sand shores, the taste of lime and mint, and cardamom. The shock of colours, an unexpected tradition behind every quite cauldesac and behind every mountain peak.
Here's to a day in Oman, the stress, the boredom, and everything in between that makes it so worthwhile.
