As a girl who loves vintage from the 30s to 40s, Effa's winter collection appealed to me on sooooo many levels. I am not into all the designs, but bias cut satin draped in jewel tones has some kind of timeless appeal. While the shapes of the designs are nothing innovative, excepting maybe the magenta open-abaya design which wouldn't flatter my petite form, I love some of the classics. Thank you Madame Vionette for inventing the bias drape for us all so we can enjoy it on an Effa abaya. My favourite from the collection is the top design because I adore emerald green (it flatters EVERY skin tone).
